It is important to ensure that any dangerous or unsafe structure is ‘made safe’. At PCDS our experienced engineers can deal with any request to investigate and inspect a possible dangerous structure. In the past these have included dangerous chimneys, walls, buildings and fire damaged buildings. Many of these schemes have been for Local Authorities. The Local Building Control department should always be notified if you think a building is dangerous. Appropriate action to remove the danger may be necessary, which may involve temporary supports or demolition works.
